You may be following the story of Fuzzy Dancer, who has been featured in our last few newsletters. We’re highlighting FD, as we call him, because of his remarkable story.

FD was a race horse, though not a particularly good one. We don’t know much about how he was handled at the track. We only know that he came to us with a broken back, just above his tail. He was thin, showed evidence of severe stifle problems, and as if that weren’t enough, he’s a cribber.
Later examinations revealed at least three other previously broken bones. He could be led in a circle to the left but not to the right. We weren’t sure he’d make it.

He’s been a special project of ours since late last fall. I’m happy to say he now looks wonderful, is very happy, and is starting under saddle. We’ve brought him back using lots of love and attention, exercise, chiropractic care, and the Super Blue Green Algae mentioned at the end of Dr. Ward’s article.

To what do we owe the most credit? Who knows? But we’ll keep doing whatever works!
