ERRI was honored to help man the Maryland Horse Council booth at the 2004 Maryland State Fair on Sunday, August 29th.
The booth, which was located in the Agricultural Building along the midway, gave out horse-related information. Riders and prospective riders could learn about issues like West Nile Virus, proper feed, and horse care.
ERRI showed videos from past jousts and Sagamore Dressage shows to show off our rescues and fundraising efforts. In addition, ERRI had rescue success stories and information about current rescues on display.
The day not only gave ERRI a chance to network with the public, but also to spread the word about the overall importance of educated horse ownership.
ERRI thanks the Maryland Horse Council, Robert Burk, and Beverly Raymond for their assistance and for allowing us to lend a hand.
