AJC brings 4th Annual Benefit Joust to ERRI, Spectators can expect loads of family fun.

Jousting returns to ERRI's home base Rendezvous Farm on Sat. July 19th at 11 a.m. This is the fourth year the Amateur Jousting Club of Maryland, Inc. has helped raise much-needed funds for ERRI's horses through jousting. ERRI hopes this will be the most successful year to date.
In addition to jousting, ERRI plans to hold a family-fun day at the farm that day. The joust will begin with the Medieval Dress Parade, there will also be a
Robin Hood skit for the kids, Renaissance dress-up pictures with horses, and opportunities for spectators to sponsor jousters to help raise money for ERRI's
rescues. Sponsors will get their picture taken with the horse(s) they sponsor that day. ERRI is asking for a $5 parking donation from spectators.
Riders are also invited. Anyone interested in jousting should call Laura Baier to sign up at 717-227-1614.
Those who have never jousted can expect guidance from AJC members. Entry fees for the jousting classes are $5. Classes include leadline, novice, amateur, semi-pro, and pro. All money will go to ERRI. Riders must bring a horse and must be helmeted.
